Lately, there have been many incidents of mob lynching and the disturbing escalation of crimes in the name of cow protection has finally made way for protests like #NotInMyName.
The protest kickstarted after many crimes related to cow vigilantism came to spotlight and painted an exasperating future. Out of all, 15-year-old Junaid’s heartbreaking story made everyone mutter “enough is enough”. Junaid’s father posted his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ clipping in a newspaper and questioned why Narendra Modi isn’t condemning such attacks and why his religion is under attack?
After the nation witnessed its citizens marching against such crimes through silent protests, PM Modi has finally broken his silence in a series of tweets and vowed to make India devoid of violence.
