Superstar Salman Khan has a persona that is mythical of sorts. His image has been cannibalizing his films for years now and it is only recently that the actor has started to try his hands at different roles. While director Kabir Khan tried to pair his stardom with a convincing character in Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, 2015’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a charming and intelligent (slyly subversive even) addition to the actor’s discography.

His association with the ‘intelligent’ director has been a successful one and the pair apparently wanted to repeat the same with Tubelight. Alas, the story this time is neither charming nor intelligent. Everything aside, this one isn’t even convincing enough!

The man-child yakeen-s that he has it in him to move mountains and takes a literal challenge to demonstrate the same.
