In case you’re not from the 90’s, you need to know that there once existed a sitcom about a very, very funny family- the Diwans. The Diwans were a family consisting of various characters, from Dadaji to little Sunny and Abha, who were entangled in each other’s affairs but not so much as to annoy one another. What a surreal family, no? Dekh Bhai Dekh was a comical show that encapsulated drama, mystery of sorts and the banality of everyday life in a damn hilarious manner. Even though nobody cross-dressed or hurled abuses, as you may find common in today’s comedy scene, the show managed to have us in splits.
