Thanks to the immense public outcry against the policies of Pahlaj Nihalani, the CBFC chief has finally been sacked from his position. Nihalani assumed the position of CBFC chief in January 2015.
In the same year, Nihalani made the Golden decision by chopping down kissing scenes in a James Bond film.
From chopping down Bond’s sex scenes to ordering 89 cuts in Udta Punjab to stopping the release of a ‘lady-oriented’ Lipstick Under My Burkha, Pahlaj Nihalani’s legacy will go down in history as cinema’s biggest cockblock.
